I am a computational biologist with six years of wet lab experience and over 12 years of computation experience. I will help you to learn computational skills to tame astronomical data and derive insights. Check out the resources I offer below and sign up for my newsletter!
Hello Bioinformatics lovers, Happy Holidays! I hope you enjoyed this time reflect on your learning in 2024 and have a plan for 2025. No skyscraper is built in a day. It takes careful planning, hard work, and the efforts of countless workers, floor by floor. Learning bioinformatics—or any skill—follows the same principle. Be eager to take action, but be patient with the results. Mastery often requires years of consistent practice. Take Unix skills, for example. It's an essential tool for bioinformatics, but it didn’t come naturally to me overnight. It took years of practice before I felt truly comfortable navigating the terminal. Now, it feels like second nature, but only because I practice daily. Consistency is the key to building excellence. I know many of you have bookmarked my posts, shared resources, or saved tutorials for later. But let me ask: Have you taken any action yet? Bookmarking and saving are good first steps, but real progress comes from diving in. Take action today, even if it’s just a small step. You’ll be amazed at the momentum it creates. Here’s a personal example: Compare that to my recent videos—I’m more confident, more natural, and I barely need a script anymore. The difference? Repetition, consistency, and practice. There’s no such thing as overnight success. Every improvement comes from putting in the work, day by day. So, what’s one step you’ll take today to advance your bioinformatics skills? Reply and let me know—I’m rooting for your success! btw, go over this free linux command book https://linuxcommand.org/index.php Keep learning, P.S. Check out my earlier videos and compare them to my latest ones. You’ll see firsthand how progress happens over time. 🌟 PPS: If you want to learn Bioinformatics, there are ways that I can help:
